Event Details

Explore the exciting, explosive side of kinetic art which is specifically art that shows movement to the viewer. Examples are wind chimes, spinning illusion art and maybe best of all, Stick Bombs.  

During this STEAM event, we'll be making classic Stick Bombs.  Colorful sticks will be used to assemble all kinds of designs to toss on the ground in hopes it generates explosive force, thus representing kinetic art.  Come join us and have permission to throw things on the ground.  Feel free to bring and show a piece of kinetic art if you have any around your home.
