Event Details
Join us for a fun and informative program all about native and invasive plants. Ashley Schutte-Bell, from the Brookfield Conservation Commission, will be here to talk about the importance of native plants and our local ecosystem. We will take a nature walk around the library and identify and collect local flora and fauna that we will then use to create a unique collage or other art project. Children are free to bring their own collection of leaves, acorns, seed pods and small twigs for our craft. This program is sponsored by the Brookfield Education Foundation and is for Grades K-5.
