The Brookfield Library Art Gallery is excited to present a retrospective of artist Penny Feder’s work entitled Worlds of Color. The gallery show features  etchings, woodcuts, and monotypes.  Feder has always been drawn to  patterns, shapes, textures, and colors that 'sing'----surfaces you want to touch and crawl into. A lifetime spent as a printmaker led her to reach for these same sensitivities in her recent mixed media works on canvas. The results are captivating; come see for yourself.  The exhibition runs from May 1 to June 26 in The Brookfield Library Community Room.  Please join the artist on Saturday, May 18th from 2:30 to 4:30 for a reception in which Penny will share her artistic techniques and some of her beguiling experiences traveling the outdoor art circuit up and down the east coast and the Midwest.
