Join us for this OTOR-themed biopic. Lust for Life is a 1956 American film about the life of the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. It's based on the 1934 novel of the same title by Irving Stone. Directed by Vincente Minnelli and produced by John Houseman, the film stars Kirk Douglas as Van Gogh and Anthony Quinn as Paul Gauguin. Douglas was awarded the Golden Globe for his portrayal and Quinn won the Oscar as best supporting actor.
