Event Details

The United Nations reports that human trafficking occurs in every country, with children accounting for one-third of the victims and women and girls making up more than 70 percent. Karen Marino, board member of the United Nations Association of the USA – Southwestern Connecticut Chapter, will shed light on the root causes of trafficking and discuss actions we can take to help end this global crisis.
