Program Description

Event Details

The Brookfield Library is delighted to welcome Brendan Slocumb, author of last summer's One Town One Read -  The Violin Conspiracy - for two innovative and thought-provoking presentations.  This evening Mr. Slocumb will explore how exercising creativity, particularly musically, has therapeutic and restorative elements. He will share his own personal stories and musical talents – which have both served as inspiration for his novels – while encouraging the audience to discover and engage their own creative voices. Bring your own instrument in if you'd like and gain some inspiration!

Mr. Slocumb's visit is generously funded by a grant from the Brookfield Education Foundation.
