Juneteenth is this month and to celebrate Jeffrey Fletcher from The Ruby & Calvin Fletcher African American History Museum in Stratford, Connecticut, will present an educational program featuring the Fletchers' collection of real historical artifacts.
Jeffrey Fletcher is the President of The African American Collections, Inc. as well as Executive Director of The Ruby and Calvin Fletcher African American History Museum in Stratford, Connecticut. Jeffrey was born and raised in Connecticut. Jeffrey grew up in Colchester, and is a graduate of The University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Upon graduation he worked as a clinician for The State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health for 14 years before becoming a Law Enforcement Officer in the City of New Haven, retiring after 22 years. Jeffrey currently resides in Branford.
