Brookfield Poet Laureate Atom Rush presents: Antenna with Atom
Please join Atom and friends, an eclectic mixture of musicians, artists and poets, on July 29th at 2PM at The Brookfield Library where you will observe a fusion of words and music to enhance and inspire any audience. Atom's performance (with or without music) is a very important aspect of his creative process. A colloquial response to the insight of the Romantics and the experiences of the Beat era, where a musician would ask Atom what they should play, and Atom would say listen to the words and let the music come to you.
We merge the elements: sight, sound, language and motion and leave it like a baby on your front porch.
Antenna with Atom started online during the pandemic via Zoom with the assistance of The Brookfield Library as a safe place to create constructive and dynamic art therefore Atom has set aside a few slots for any musicians or poets that would like to perform their original material during the event.
Please contact Atom via email (13aaasun@gmail.com) before the event if you are interested in performing.
Long Live the Creative Process!
