Quit tossing your favorite things as soon as they rip. Save money AND learn a new skill! Fiber Arts team Bonnah Co is here to teach two useful hand-sewing stitches and how to sew on a button in this beginner-level class. No prior sewing knowledge needed!
About BonnahCo: Bonnie Liang and Hannah Choi are a 50/50 partnership offering classes that introduce students to embroidery, sewing (hand and machine), macrame, fashion design, and surface design techniques like fabric stamping and fabric painting.
Bonnie Lianghas been a lifelong artist, doodling since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC & enjoyed a 10-year career in fashion illustration working at Vogue/Butterick/McCall Patterns. In addition to teaching through BonnaH Co, Bonnie is a part-time instructor at One River School, where she's teaching Digital & Studio Art to kids, teens, and adults. Bonnie calls Fairfield, CT "home" with her husband and their two kids.
Hannah Choi comes from a long line of women fiber artists. Growing up around sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, or weaving instilled in her the value of using her hands to create. Hannah has always been passionate about kids & education. She's currently an executive function coach for Beyond BookSmart and hosts a podcast called Focus Forward. Hannah feeds her creativity by sewing clothes for herself. Hannah lives in Fairfield, CT with her husband and their two kiddos.

New Guidelines on Program Attendance
We understand that sometimes, unexpected instances can occur that may prevent you from attending a program that you registered for. If you find that you are unable to attend an event, please give us a call, email us, or cancel your registration online. This will afford others who would like to attend, the opportunity to participate.
Unfortunately, absences without prior notification and extreme tardiness have been hindering library staff from carrying out programs to the best of our abilities. Even more importantly, these disruptive behaviors are undermining the positive experiences of other participants. The Library's Patron Behavior Policy explicitly states that behavior that “interferes with the enjoyment of the library by other individuals” can result in adverse consequences.
Therefore, we feel it’s important to announce our new guidelines for program attendance. Beginning on July 1st, any registrant for an adult program who is a “no-show” and/or is more than 15 minutes late for two events will subsequently be moved to the waitlist for the next program they register for.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping make our library programs pleasurable and meaningful for all.
